Meanwhile,Fichajes claims Tottenhamare aiming to strengthentheir squadahead of a return to the Champions League, listing Simons as one oftheir three top targets. Last month,Fichajes reported that Newcastle United are eager to make Xavi Simons a central figure in their plans for next season. The Premier League side issaid to be preparing a bid in the region of €70 million for the talented Dutch midfielder.
This follows aBild report claiming that RB Leipzig signed Simons from PSG in January for €50 million andare looking to make a €20 million profit on the deal.
Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle are all keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old, who recorded 11 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances last season.
