Juventus are still pushing to sign Manchester United wantaway Jadon Sancho as The Red Devils look to offload the winger permanently this summer.

Unfortunately for Sancho, his United exit has been a long time coming, having spent the last year and a half on loan.

Following a very public bust up with Erik ten Hag in 2023, Sancho was exiled on loan to former side Borussia Dortmund.

However, upon his return, the former England international was signed by Chelsea on deadline day last summer, with an obligatory buy clause for £25 million.

Ultimately Chelsea opted to pay £5 million to get out of their obligation, sending the winger back to Old Trafford.

Now Jadon Sancho has been caught in the middle of a three club race for his signature, featuring Juventus, Napoli and Fenerbahce.

Whilst Fenerbahce are reportedly the only club to be able to meet Sancho’s wage demands, the 25-year-old has expressed his desire to remain in one of the top five leagues in Europe, ruling out the Turkish side.

However, the consequence of this is that he may have to accept a pay cut as no other club are happy to take on his salary of around £300,000 per week.

This is certainly true in Juventus’ case, who are more than ok to cover his £25 million transfer fee, however aren’t happy to meet his wage demands.

As such, to keep costs down, Juve have been routinely looking at various player-swap deals for Sancho, with Fabrizio Romano reporting three different players have been offered to Manchester United in return of their winger.

Douglas Luiz is well known to be on this list by this point, with United having interest in the central midfielder as a proven Premier League talent.

Another member of the £500,000 per week trio is striker Dusan Vlahovic who has also been on United’s shortlist this summer as they look to replace Rasmus Hojlund.

The final member of the three offered by Juve is Tim Weah, The Old Lady’s right winger.

It’s understood that United were informed of Juve’s intent to list Vlahovic and Weah for sale this summer, however the Red Devils showed no appetite in including them in a swap deal.
