Darren Waller is ready to make his NFL comeback.
The Giants are trading the freshly un-retired tight end to the Miami Dolphins, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The Giants also sent a a 2027 seventh-round pick to Miami and will receive a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick in exchange.
The trade comes one day after the Dolphins sent tight end Jonnu Smith to the Steelers as part of the Jalen Ramsey-Minkah Fitzpatrick trade.
Last year, Waller announced his retirement from football after spending one season with New York. The 32-year-old, last played for the Giants in 2023. In 12 games (11 starts) he recorded 52 receptions for 552 yards and one touchdown.
