DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - National Football League Hall of Famer Randy Moss is stepping back into his role on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” following his recovery from cancer.
Moss stepped away from his role as an analyst on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” on December 6.

According to The Athletic, Moss was forced to step down with two months left in the season.
After being forced to miss the final two months of last year due to a cancer diagnosis, ESPN expects Hall of Fame WR Randy Moss to return to a full-time role on “Sunday NFL Countdown,” the network confirmed to @AndrewMarchand.

In December, Moss received Whipple surgery after a cancerous mass was found in his bile duct, between his pancreas and liver.

The wide receiver played 14 seasons in the NFL with a handful of teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots, and the San Francisco 49ers.
