Manchester City are “in the dark” in their 115 charges case as they continue to wait for the verdict.
Man City were dealt the charges by the Premier League in February 2023 for allegedly breaching the financial fair play (FFP) rules over a nine-year period between 2009 and 2018.
They are alleged to have concealed payments through third parties by disguising them as sponsorship revenue.
An independent commission hearing started in September last year and ended in December, with the panel still considering its verdict.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider the parties are likely to hear the decision “out of the blue”.
Borson previously told Football Insider Man City will have “concerns” about the verdict if the situation drags on into next season.

Man City want quick 115 charges decision
Borson insisted Man City and the Premier League are both currently “in the dark” as they wait to hear the verdict.
He told Football Insider: “I know for a fact that there wasn’t a great deal of guidance given by the panel about the timing of the decision.
“It’s not just the outside world that’s in the dark as to when this decision is coming, it’s the parties as well.
“But of course, any information that anybody has or anybody gets from any of the people that they talk to, and I include the information that I get from various places, it’s out of date the minute that it’s given because of course at any point in a situation like this you can get an email from your barrister that says ‘Here’s the decision. It’s under embargo for review for typos, but here it is’.
“So, there will be a timing for when it will be released to the outside world. This is what happens also in legal cases in the outside world. That email from the court can come at any time.
“You might get a bit of guidance that you can expect it by a certain date or you can expect it this week, but often it just comes out of the blue to the barrister or to the solicitors, and then it’s circulated to the parties.
“That’s the position both the Premier League and Manchester City are in, but I do think sooner the better for City and, certainly, if we get into August, I think there will be concern on the City side.”

James McAtee makes Man City exit decision after Nottingham Forest reveal
In terms of a potential exit, recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider James McAtee is set to snub a move to Nottingham Forest in favour of a switch to Germany.
Forest sent scouts to watch McAtee at the Under-21s European Championships, where he captained England to the trophy.
However, the 22-year-old is understood to favour a move to the Bundesliga, with Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen all monitoring his situation.
