Liverpool will sell Harvey Elliott if they receive a bid of £40million this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 22-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, and is expected to depart in an attempt to kickstart his career.

A number of top German clubs have now joined Premier League clubs in the race, with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig keeping tabs on the situation.

Elliott started just two Premier League games for Arne Slot’s side last season, and both came after the Reds had already wrapped up the title.

Liverpool could accept £50m Ibrahima Konate bid

Meanwhile, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Liverpool may be forced to accept offers of between £40-50million for defender Ibrahima Konate this summer.

The Reds are concerned about the prospect of losing the 26-year-old on a free transfer in 2026, when his contract at Anfield is due to expire.

Sources say Konate has rejected Liverpool’s initial offer of an extension – raising fears he could follow Trent Alexander-Arnold and quit the club for free.

Real Madrid are again interested in a raid on the Reds if the France international defender runs down his deal at Anfield.
