For Neco Williams, the 2024/25 campaign is one that will live long in the memory.
The defender produced some stunning performances to help Forest get into the UEFA Conference League, finding a home for himself at left-back.
Williams was among the contenders to win the Player of the Year award, such was his form over the course of the campaign.
Now, Forest have moved to keep Williams at the City Ground in a move that will undoubtedly prove popular.

Neco Williams signs new Nottingham Forest contract
The talented performer has ended speculation over his future by extending his contract to 2029.
It means a new four-year deal for the player who can play on either side of the back four, and this will be a popular decision with the fan base.
After penning the extension, Williams told the official website: “I’m really happy, another four years with this Club and it’s just getting better and better. Everyone knows how ambitious our owner is, and it’s a big thank you to him for showing belief in me and the Club. It’s an exciting time looking to the future.”
Williams has made over 100 appearances during his three years at Forest, showcasing significant improvement from one year to the next.

After penning his new deal, Williams took to Instagram to speak of his delight.
He posted: “I’m delighted to announce I’ve signed a new four-year deal with Forest. Grateful for the trust the club has shown in me and the support from everyone around me! The work doesn’t stop here. Excited for what’s ahead this season in Europe and the Premier League.”
Elanga posted to Williams: “Congrats Neco, laaaa.”
Curtis Jones, who came through the Liverpool ranks with Williams, simply posted a bicep emoji and Brennan Johnson said, ‘Nice Neco lad’.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ryan Yates all reacted and it seems as though Williams is extremely popular in the dressing room.
