Marcus Rashford is yet again being linked with a move away from Manchester United with a new club reportedly joining the race for his signature.
Rashford's future has been the subject of intense speculation over these last six months, even before the England international joined Aston Villa on loan, at the start of the year. United included a £40million option-to-buy clause in that agreement, which has not been activated by Villa.
It was confirmed on Monday that Rashford had returned to United following his loan spell at Villa, where he now faces an uncertain future. The 27-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford with United also preparing for the possibility that he could leave the club on loan rather than on a permanent deal.
German news outlet Sport BILD have reported that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are now showing an interest in signing Rashford this summer.
It has been claimed that Bayern see Rashford as the perfect candidate to perform on the left wing next season, along with the added versatility of being able to operate as a central striker.
However, the report goes on to flag up that Bayern are also interested in signing Liverpool forward Luis Diaz. It has also been claimed that the Bundesliga giants have already made an approach to Diaz with a view to trying to bring the forward to the Allianz Arena.
Seemingly, that means it could be one step further on than any would-be swoop for Rashford.
Bayern have been widely reported to be in the market for a new left winger this summer as they look to replace Leroy Sane, who has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray this summer.
Rashford is joined by Diaz, Nico Williams, Bradley Barcola, Rafael Leao and Kaoru Mitoma, who have all also been linked with a move to Bayern this summer in their search for a new forward.
