Raphinha has continued to be remembered as a hero at Leeds United.
The Brazil international played a key role in keeping the Whites in the Premier League throughout his two-year stint in Yorkshire.
Since leaving, the 28-year-old has gone on to be one of the best players in world football, winning the Champions League golden boot at Barcelona last season.
That hasn’t seen him forget about his spell in LS11, taking to social media to react to the latest Elland Road development.

You will struggle to find a Leeds fan who has a bad word to say about the forward despite only sticking around for two seasons.

That is just how good the former Stade Rennais man was.
With that being said, it was his attitude on the pitch and his relationship with supporters which made him a true favourite to be remembered.
The Brazilian certainly hasn’t harmed his reputation with the Whites after becoming such a well-known success at Camp Nou.
Even with this newfound worldwide fame, it is clear that Raphinha still has love for Leeds, just as the fans have for him.
This has been showcased after a mural of the former Whites winger was unveiled on a house, just a stone’s throw from Elland Road.
It is fair to say that this delighted the Barcelona man as he took to his Instagram story (2 July) to share his love for the wall painting, describing it as “Lovely,” accompanied by a heart eyes and fire emoji.
