Earlier this week, 14-year-old JJ Gabriel committed his future to Manchester United after attracting interest from around Europe.
Gabriel posted a message on social media after making his decision, and fans can now enjoy watching the exciting teenager’s progression at Carrington.
After shining in the youth ranks, Gabriel was tipped to make his debut next season under Ruben Amorim, and it seems that he is still on track to achieve that.

JJ Gabriel wears his own Man United squad number
United’s pre-season training begins on July 7 before the squad jets off to Sweden to face Leeds United in the first summer friendly.
There could be several squad number changes after a handful of departures, while academy talents could be handed their own number.
Based on JJ Gabriel’s latest Instagram story, it seems he may have been given his own first-team number ahead of pre-season.

Gabriel was pictured in United’s new 2025/26 training kit wearing the No.95 on both his shirt and shorts.
It has not been confirmed that No.95 is Gabriel’s official squad number, but it is a strong hint that he could be handed his own digits.
JJ Gabriel could join Man United on 2025 pre-season tour
After facing Leeds, United travel to the United States for the bulk of their 2025 pre-season tour where they will participate in the Premier League Summer Series.
Gabriel has agreed to a new contract at United, and as one of the club’s most exciting prospects he could join Amorim and the first-team squad on their pre-season travels.
Amorim has already axed four stars from the tour, with Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho not expected to travel amid their transfer sagas.

Several youngsters impressed on the post-season tour of Asia earlier this summer and will be hoping to be involved in the US tour.
United will face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton in America before returning to Manchester to face Fiorentina in a final friendly at Old Trafford a week before the start of the 2025/26 season.
