Targets: Rodrygo, Mohammed Kudus, Eberechi Eze
The summer window is in full swing and this week major deals are continuing to be wrapped up. Arsenal confirmed the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £5million, and hope to add Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard in the coming days. Further forward, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are of interest, but it is Real Madrid’s Rodrygo who Mikel Arteta considers his perfect signing. Talks are ongoing regarding Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko as striker options.
Chelsea waved goodbye to Kepa but this week should welcome both Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens to the club for a combined £115m. The Blues also hold an interest in Mohammed Kudus, but it is Tottenham who are pursuing the West Ham attacker amid hope of doing a deal for less than his £85m release clause. Spurs will not be signing Antoine Semenyo, who has penned a new five-year Bournemouth contract.
Manchester United are struggling to return with another improved bid for Bryan Mbeumo, after seeing a second worth £62.5m rejected by Brentford. Liverpool are unwilling to part with the £45m Crystal Palace want to let Marc Guehi leave. Follow the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours live below!
The Hammers have reignited their pursuit of Slavia Prague’s young Senegalese defender this summer, tabling an official offer worth approximately €20m (£17.1m).
However, Fabrizio Romano reports that approach was rejected by the Czech champions, who are holding out for a larger fee amid rival interest.

Standard Sport reported last week that Crystal Palace’s FA Cup final hero had been added to a winger transfer shortlist at the Emirates Stadium that also includes Real Madrid star Rodrygo and Anthony Gordon at Newcastle.
Now multiple outlets including The Guardian claim that Arsenal have entered talks with Eze’s camp to discuss a potential transfer.
However, they add that discussions are not yet underway with Crystal Palace regarding a fee for the England international.
The Canada international was one of the most sought-after names going into this transfer window, but it appears, according to Fabrizio Romano, that the Old Lady have won the race to land him.
Transfer guru Romano has given the deal the ‘here we go’ treatment, with the forward, who has just left Lille, expected to pen a long-term deal in Turin.
According to reports, they believe he will be available for £60m despite his £85m release clause.
The player has also been offered to Chelsea and Manchester United. The Blues are thought to be carefully considering a deal.
They will hold fresh talks around a deal after the Club World Cup, and Real are only keen to let him leave for a fee of £77m.
Noni Madueke is also a target for the Gunners and is available at a much lower price point, but is not thought to be well suited to their needs.
