Arsenal haven’t sent a proposal to Noni Madueke, and have only held talks to understand his current situation according to Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market and have already signed three new attackers in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
It’s thought Chelsea want to start next season with as many as nine attacking options, and signing another attacker hasn’t been ruled out.
Arsenal haven’t sent a proposal for Madueke
If Chelsea do add another attacker then it’s almost certain one of the current crop will have to leave, with Madueke seemingly the most likely at this stage.
Madueke is attracting interest from Arsenal, but it’s thought Chelsea aren’t actively looking to sell the England international.

It’s been reported Chelsea could consider offers of over £45m for Madueke, who scored seven goals and registered four assists in the Premier League last season.
Arsenal reportedly sent a personal terms offer to Madueke, but Romano denied that and has now provided an update on the situation.
“The reality is that Arsenal have not sent any proposal to Chelsea for Madueke as of today,” he told his YouTube channel.
“Arsenal have not sent any contract proposal to the player. They just had talks to understand the situation of the player last week. So Madueke is one of the names on the list, but at the moment nothing has changed.”
Chelsea interested in Kudus
Despite signing three new attackers Chelsea might not be done there, and are also interested in West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus.

Chelsea are believed to be keeping an eye on the situation surrounding Kudus, with Tottenham also interested in the Ghana international.
Kudus has a release clause of £85m in his contract, active for Premier League clubs in the first ten days of July, but it’s believed West Ham would entertain offers of around £60m given their financial situation.
