England are again winners of the U21 European Championship. They defeated Germany 3-2 in the final. Goals from Harvey Elliott, Omari Hutchinson and Jonathan Rowe. The Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott was voted player of the tournament. Lee Carsley was the man in charge, building success on success with his young lions.
The U19 European Championship in Romania did see Holland as winners. A team of great talent and special players won this tournament. In charge was Martijn Reuters. Holland defeated Spain 1-0 in the final with an Spanish own goal settling the result.
Spain is a nation that over years have managed to develope unique talent. Holland also have a good trend but often you see this with a bit of gaps in between.

In midfield we have Kees Smith. He is currently getting first team games at AZ. The Heiloo born is a massive talent. He is said to be a huge Real Madrid fan, interesting player to follow. Seen as the best player in this tournament. Tygo Land is also a player to keep a close eye on, also in this team of the tournament. The PSV youngster made his mark and will be one to follow going forward. Early days still at senior level, given his debut last season. Being part of two Championship squads at PSV in the last two seasons, what a start.
The other players in this team of the tournament are German attackers Max Moerstedt and Said El Mala. Moerstedt is on the books of Hoffeheim. El Mala is FC Köln property. Last season he played for 3rd Bundesliga club FC Viktoria Köln. Three Spaniards completed this eleven. Forward Pablo Garcia from Betis, Real Sociedad’s defender Jon Martin and Atletico Madrid’s left back is Daniel Munoz.

the u21 tournament also had a number of players to watch. In the team of the tournament you of course had Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott. He has been on the fringe for The Reds, but still must be seen as one established. Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham back in 2019. He has played 92 league games so far at the age of 22. His performance in the final vs. Germany was impressive.
In the u21 tournament being hosted by Slovakia, the final was England vs. Germany. England ending as winners in a 3-2 battle at the Tehelnè pole Stadium in Bratislava.
