Manchester United are set to submit a third bid to sign Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo on Wednesday, with a move edging closer to being finalised, according to Utd District.
The Red Devils are in the market for reinforcements in the final third after a disappointing campaign in 2024/2025. United lost in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur and finished the season in the bottom half of the Premier League without a trophy, and they'll need to strengthen to turn things around.
Mbeumo has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window, and he could help transform United's attack. Ruben Amorim's side have already secured the signature of Matheus Cunha, so United could have a new-look forward line for the 2025/2026 campaign.

Bryan Mbeumo in action for Brentford
Utd District have now reported that the Manchester club are set to submit a third offer to sign Brentford forward Mbeumo on Wednesday, with a move edging closer to being finalised. The Red Devils saw a £55m bid rejected back in June, followed by a second offer that was turned down last week.
United want Mbeumo at the club for the first day of pre-season, which is due to commence on Monday. There is hope that a deal can be sorted by the end of the week after all parties held positive talks recently.
