Al-Nassr are weighing up an approach for Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli if the club fail to land Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.
The Saudi Pro League side have made Diaz their top target for the summer but are yet to formalise an approach. Liverpool have already turned down approaches from Barcelona and Bayern Munich for the Colombian winger this summer and have insisted Diaz is not for sale.
The Reds could reportedly reconsider that stance in the wake of a huge offer, though Al-Nassr would also need encouragement that the 28-year-old is open to the move to Saudi Arabia. Should a deal for Diaz appear unfeasible, Al-Nassr will target Martinelli.
Arsenal are not looking to offload the Brazilian and have started talks over a potential new contract, but journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that Al-Nassr have belief that a deal can be done.
Gabriel Martinelli is one option for Al-Nassr if they fail to land Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.
Arsenal are not actively looking to sell, and have started exploratory extension talks. However, Nassr believe a big offer could change their mind.

Martinelli endured an inconsistent 2024/25 campaign and Arsenal are in the market for a high-profile left-winger this summer.
The Gunners are interested in a deal for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, while pursuing the inter-dependent transfer of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.
Those additions could reduce Martinelli’s role, while a big offer could tempt Arsenal given their pursuit of multiple attacking targets.
Arsenal also want to sign a marquee centre-forward with internal discourse over RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres.
