Liverpool reject bid from Bayern Munich for winger

Liverpool have informed Bayern Munich director Max Eberl that talented winger Luis Diaz is not for sale, as the former Porto player reportedly seeks a move away from Anfield. The Colombian international was one of the Anfield club's star players last season, scoring 13 goals in 36 games.

The arrival of Florian Wirtz could put pressure on Luis Diaz for a first-team place, but the persistent rumours of a departure away from Liverpool appear to suggest that either the club are ready to sell or the player is seeking a move elsewhere. There is also a possibility that the Colombian is demanding a new contract with more money.

Diaz has been with Liverpool since the 2021-22 season, after the club paid 45 million euros to secure the versatile winger. 103 Premier League games later, and Luis Diaz is now one of the first names on the team sheet and has forged an excellent attacking partnership with Mo Salah.

It is understood that Liverpool are in no rush to sell Luis Diaz, and that the player already has a pricetag in excess of 100 million euros, something that Bayern Munich are unlikely to be willing to pay.
