Bayern see offer for Barcelona target Luis Diaz rejected by Liverpool

Bayern Munich have reportedly seen a bid for Luis Diaz rejected by Liverpool after joining the race to land the Colombia international.

Barcelona initially made Diaz their top transfer target this summer, before switching to Nico Williams, and also had an offer rejected by the Reds.

Bayern have now met the same fate after deciding on trying to land Diaz. According to BBC Sport, the Bavarian club have been told the forward is not for sale.

Liverpool have apparently made it clear they have no intention of selling Diaz and do not want to enter into any negotiations.

Diaz is thought to be willing to leave Liverpool for Barcelona, but it seems right now that the Catalans will bring in Williams instead unless the deal falls through.

Diaz could therefore end up staying at Liverpool and seeing out the remaining two years of his existing contract.

He’s previously admitted he’s been talking to other clubs but also said he would be happy to stay.
