Nottingham Forest would like to thank its departing B Team players for their commitment and professionalism throughout their time at the Club.

Some of the players have been at Forest since the Foundation Phase, progressing all the way through the Academy. Off the back of a hugely successful season for the B Team, a few players are now leaving for a new challenge as they begin their journeys in senior football.

Sam Collins, Jack Nadin and Jack Perkins all joined Forest before the age of 10, playing in every age group before establishing themselves as essential parts of the trophy lifting B Team. Our recent B Team cohort has been full of players from Nottinghamshire, holding a reputation for their exemplary attitude and dedication on and off the pitch.

Both Jacks played in every PL 2 and EFL Trophy game in 2024/25, with Perkins starting in every one of those fixtures. They shared the midfield throughout the season and their partnership was a crucial part of the team’s International Cup win.

Nadin will embark on a Champions League journey from next season, joining Welsh champions The New Saints, while Perkins has joined Northampton Town.

Collins has also found a new home, joining Kings Lynn Town. Having been a mainstay in the B Team up until his serious injury in 2023, the midfielder has been recovering full fitness and did begin to play a part for Warren Joyce’s side towards the end of the recent campaign. Harry Griffiths, Will Brook and Manni Norkett all joined Forest in 2023, with the latter returning to the Club from Manchester United having been part of the Forest Academy from a young age.

Norkett spent the first half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at League Two side Cheltenham Town, scoring his first goal against Accrington Stanley in October.

Returning to Forest, Norkett scored the crucial second goal in the Premier League International Cup semi-final, sending the team through to the final of the competition they would go on to win. He now joins National League side Boston United for his next challenge.

Griffiths and Brook, both goalkeepers who joined from Wimbledon and Leeds United respectively, are also leaving the Club. Brook spent last season at Farsley Celtic in the National League North, making 17 appearances. Griffiths was competing with the strong cohort of goalkeepers in the B Team setup, featuring on the bench in all three EFL Trophy games, as well as in the Premier League Cup and PL 2. Griffiths will stay in Nottingham for his next step, joining Notts County in League Two.

19-year-old Connor Brown was part of the B Team squad in the 24/25 campaign, scoring in the 3-0 win against Dynamo Zagreb in the opening game of the Premier League International Cup run. Brown had been at Forest for close to four years, having joined the Academy from Lincoln City in 2021.

Craig Mulholland, Head of Football Development & Talent Management, said: ‘We wish all the lads well on the next stage of their journey. While they have all been with us for different lengths of time, they will take with them learnings and memories from their Forest experience that will stay with them forever.

“All of the staff at the club wish the lads well, and it is so pleasing to see so many already signed up and continuing their professional careers elsewhere. Alex Bailey, and his excellent well-being and player care team, will now stay in touch with all of the lads to ensure that they continue to receive all the care and help they require on the next exciting step in their careers.”
