Juventus coach Igor Tudor will have to face Luka Modric again next season, but he couldn’t hide his admiration for the midfielder.
Modric is currently in the United States at the Club World Cup having a last tango with Real Madrid, but will soon join his boyhood club. As per widesread reports, the Croatian and Milan have reached an agreement for next season, a one-year deal with an option for a second year.
This was confirmed by Igli Tare in a press conference given to journalists late last month. As the sporting director revealed, the plan is to inject some leadership and experience into the midfield, something Modric obviously brings in abundance.
Modric receives praise
Tudor spoke in the post-match press conference after his side were knocked out of the FIFA Club World Cup by Real Madrid. Modric came off the bench, and completed 19 out of his 19 passes.

“What can I say about Modric? Croatia has a population of four million people: someone like him is born every 300 years. He is a source of pride for the entire country,” he said (via MilanNews).
“As a player you all see him, but as a person he is the same and people may not know that. I hope he continues to be different because he is only 40 years old.”
