Report: Scott Parker has just added three Leeds United targets to his Burnley wishlist, they're all free agents

Burnley will be joining Leeds United in the Premier League next season, having finished 2nd in the Championship last season. So far this summer, the Clarets are making waves in the transfer market.

Leeds United have completed the signing of Sebastiaan Bornauw who becomes the club’s third signing of the summer so far.

Burnley meanwhile have already completed seven new signings, though four of them were via permanent activations following the club’s promotion to the Premier League under Scott Parker.

How his side fare next season remains to be seen. It could be that they and Leeds prove very evenly-matched, be that in a relegation battle or somewhere more comfortable in the mid-table region.

It could largely depend on what business both teams can conduct in the remaining two months of the summer transfer window. One thing seems clear right now though and that’s that both teams are in the market for new strikers.

Leeds United have been linked with a number of strikers and now, Burnley are weighing up moves for a handful of the same players.

Burnley join race to sign Leeds United transfer target Callum Wilson and more

One striker linked with Leeds this summer is Callum Wilson. Wilson is out of contract this summer, but reports then stated that Newcastle United were set to hand Wilson a new deal, though no official announcement has yet been made on the former Bournemouth man’s future.

The Telegraph report that Wilson is among the ‘possible options’ for Burnley this summer, along with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jamie Vardy, who have also both been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer.

Leeds United were linked with Vardy earlier in the summer. The link garnered a mixed reaction from Leeds fans, and we’re no closer to finding out where Vardy goes next. Meanwhile, Calvert-Lewin moving to Leeds United has been played down, although the departing Everton man is on Farke’s radar.

Who are the other strikers linked with Leeds United this summer?

So far, Leeds United have signed Lukas Nmecha on a free transfer from Wolfsburg. And Farke looks set to follow that up with at least two more striker signings in the summer transfer window.

The main striker target to report on right now is Rodrigo Muniz. Already this summer, Leeds have had a £32million bid for Muniz rejected by Fulham, with the latest reports stating that Leeds United are set to bid again for Muniz, though that £32million figure has since been clarified to £26million.

Another name strongly linked right now is Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic. Reports in Italy are linking him with a move to Elland Road, though there has been plenty of contrasting reports on the matter.

Leeds United News can confirm that Krstovic is on Farke’s transfer wishlist this summer, but the Montenegrin international isn’t exactly high up on the list.
