The Stockport-born Academy graduate reached the three figure mark in our FIFA Club World Cup clash against Al-Hilal earlier this week.

Foden needed just 319 games to hit the century and joins Erling Haaland as players currently at the Club on triple figures.

To score 100 goals is one feat in itself, but to do so while predominantly playing in midfield is even further example of Foden’s importance to Pep Guardiola.

Before Kevin De Bruyne reached 100 goals last April, no midfielder since Colin Bell had amassed that tally in a City shirt.

Born just a few miles from the Etihad as a City fan, Foden’s journey is the stuff of dreams for football fans all over the world.

Having gone from ballboy to promising talent to world-class talent, he’s already cemented his status as a City hero.

Meanwhile, his haul of 17 major trophies since his senior debut in November 2017 means he ranks amongst the most decorated players in our history.

To celebrate this latest landmark in his career, we take a look back at his journey so far.
