Leeds United exit now ‘imminent’ – Transfer fee revealed

Maximilian Wöber’s move from Leeds United to Werder Bremen from Leeds United is imminent, with phone calls between the various parties in full swing.

That’s [according to DeichStube](https://www.deichstube.de/news/werder-bremen-transfers-vertragslaufzeit-abloese-alle-details-zum-maximilian-woeber-wechsel-leeds-united-bundesliga-transfer-zr-93813722.html) who provide all the details of the defender’s move from Leeds, which is now in the final stages.

They say that Leeds and Werder Bremen have agreed on the deal for the defender, who is desperate to join the German club. By the looks of things, he won’t have to wait much longer for that to happen.

A medical is now booked in for him and set to take place imminently, after which he will sign a four-year deal with the Bundesliga club.

The move has progressed quickly between Leeds and Bremen and the latter will pay €4m to sign the player, who cost Leeds €12m in 2023. Injuries over the last year have caused his value, which is rated at €8m by the likes of Transfermarkt, to plummet.

Wöber had announced publicly earlier this summer that Leeds wanted to move him on, and they are now on the verge of doing so, with Werder Bremen close to finalising their deal for him.
