Burnley have signed France Under-21 winger Loum Tchaouna from Lazio.

The 21-year-old, who played at this summer's European Under-21 Championship, has joined on a five-year deal for a fee reported to be about £13m.

Tchaouna is Burnley's fourth summer signing, with defender Axel Tuanzebe, left-back Quilindschy Hartman and goalkeeper Max Weiss having already joined Scott Parker's men following promotion to the Premier League.

"I spoke with the manager during the Euros this summer and we had a really good conversation, which made me realise I wanted to be here," said Tchaouna.

Tchaouna made his senior debut as a 17-year-old for Rennes in September 2021 before spells at Dijon, which was on loan, Salernitana and Lazio.

Burnley begin their Premier League campaign at Tottenham on Saturday, 16 August (15:00 BST).
