Arsenalare advancing in talks to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, who has given his approval to a move to the Emirates.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that negotiations are going well for the FA Cup final hero.

The Gunners are very busy in the market and, having already secured Martin Zubimendi, they are working on many other targets such as Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke.

Romano has revealed that Eze is a player to watch closely over the coming days.

What did Romano say?

“For Eberechi Eze, there was contact between Arsenal and the agents of the player,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.

“They’re working on the deal and the talks are concrete. Now the player is opening doors to Arsenal. He’s excited by it and he’s keen for the move to Arsenal.

“It’s a separate story to Madueke. Arsenal only had conversations to understand the situation of Madueke. For Eze, they’ve started talking about the conditions of the deal with Crystal Palace and on the player’s side.

“Tottenham, at the moment, are not advancing for Eze. They’re focusing on Kudus. Keep an eye on Arsenal and Eze.”

Eze had appeared to be a key target for Tottenham this summer but new manager Thomas Frank is now going all-in for West Ham star Mohamed Kudus instead.

As for Eze, he will not come cheap as he will reportedly cost €80 million.

Eze, who famously scored the winner in the FA Cup final against Man City, has become one of the Premier League’s most admired players in recent years.

He is expected to leave Palace this summer in order to make the next step up.
