“Great News”,“That Attack Is About To Get Scarier”: Arsenal Fans React To Major Viktor Gyokeres Update

Arsenal fans have taken to social media to react to the news that the Gunners are confident of striking an agreement to sign Viktor Gyokeres.

The Gunners are looking to bring in a striker this summer, with several names having been linked with a move to the Emirates over the past months. Benjamin Sesko was seemingly the frontrunner, however, talks broke down after the player refused to lower his wage demands to meet Arsenal’s request.

It then emerged earlier this week that Arsenal had made Hugo Ekitike a target who could be an alternative to Sesko, however, it now appears that the Gunners are prioritising their initial number one target, Viktor Gyokeres.

Arsenal have been linked with Gyokeres for several months spanning back to last summer, with Man United also credited with interest. However, a report by French outlet L’Equipe is now claiming that Arsenal are confident of landing Gyokeres, and the player himself wants the move, it seems that the Gunners are getting closer to finally getting a striker.

It is understood that any deal for the Sporting CP striker will be in the region of around £60m-£70m, with Sporting wanting the upper, but Gyokeres pushing for the lower, as he wants to secure his move.
