Randy Moss, retired NFL legend, will soon be making a return to TV after his cancer diagnosis last year forced him to take a break, according to an announcement by ‘The Athletic’. Last December, Moss revealed to the public that during a surgery for his liver, doctors found cancer cells in his bile duct. Moss had to undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments for the same, but now seems to be getting back on his feet.
Randy Moss, who spent 14 seasons in the National Football League, mainly with the Minnesota Vikings, made a surprising on-screen appearance during the Super Bowl LIX matchup in February, between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite being in treatment for cancer, Moss still managed to stay in touch with NFL and sports broadcasting. In February, Moss attended the NFL Honors when a pre-taped video of him was played where the retired wide-out gives gratitude to his doctors, his family and everyone who has continued to support him through this difficult time.

Meanwhile, Randy Moss’ return to the screen seems to have delighted millions of NFL fans all over the world. Fans flooded social media with comments on how happy they are to see someone beating cancer and how they are excited to soon see Moss back on screen, doing what he loves best, talking about football.

At the same time, there were also many who remarked that the retired wide receiver may actually not be completely out of danger as of yet, since cancer is pretty hard to beat. One particular fan on Reddit commented that there is a huge possibility that the cancer may make a return, but for now “he’s in good shape”.

Still other fans made other interesting comments, like how Randy Moss definitely had to pay for the treatment out of pocket since insurance companies would not work this fast for anyone. Many social media users simply commented that the Hall of Famer simply ‘Moss’d’ cancer.
