The latest Sunderland transfer news and rumours as the Black Cats close in on their third signing of the summer

Sunderland have reportedly agreed a £14.7million deal to sign Union Saint Gilloise midfielder Noah Sadiki. That's accoring to journalist Fabrizio Romano who claims the Black Cats have agreed a five-year contract with the highly rated DR Congo international.
He claims the 20-year-old has completed his medical earlier this morning after an agreement was reached between the two clubs. However, Sky Sports claim the player is still undergoing his medical.
Sadiki is set to sign a five-year deal with Regis Le Bris side with a reported £2.5million agreed in add-ons.
Sadiki, who was reportedly of interest to Leeds United, Brentford and Brighton this summer, will become the Black Cats third signing of the summer if all goes ahead as planned.
Sunderland agreed to sign Enzo Le Fee as part of their loan agreement in January if promotion was achieved, before signing highly rated midfielder Habib Diarra from Strasbourg earlier this week, smashing their transfer record fee on both occasions.
Sadiki, who played the majority of last season in central midfield, came through the youth ranks at Anderlecht before being given his debut by Vincent Kompany, before a move to USG in 2023.

He's made 140 senior appearances and helped the Belgian outfit win the Belgian Pro League title last season, qualifying for the Champions League.
Sunderland are hoping to ramp up their transfer dealings this week and have been linked with a number of European stars. However, one player who won't be moving to Wearside is OGC Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka.

The Polish international is set to move to newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Neom, despite having held talks with the Black Cats over a potential move to the Stadium of Light.
Chelsea goalkeeper Dorde Petrovic has emerged as a potential target for the Black Cats with Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri claiming Sunderland are close to agreeing a €25million move for shot stopper on a five-year deal.
