SUNDERLAND'S bold summer transfer spree is set to continue with the signing of Noah Sadiki from Union Saint-Gilloise.
The [Black Cats](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/sunderland) yesterday broke their transfer record to sign Habib Diarra and Reinildo is on the verge of completing his move after leaving Atletico Madrid this week.
And Sunderland have now finalised a deal to sign DR Congo international Sadiki, who is comfortable playing in midfield, at centre-back and right-back.
The 20-year-old former Anderlecht youngster is understood to be undergoing his medical in Paris this afternoon and has agreed a five-year deal. Sunderland will pay an initial fee of €17m plus €3m in add-ons.
Sadiki was reportedly wanted by Leeds United, Brentford and Frankfurt this summer but the youngster was sold by Sunderland's exciting vision for the future on the back of their promotion, as was also the case with Diarra.

Sadiki starred last season as Union Saint-Gilloise were crowned Belgian champions. The youngster featured prominently domestically and in Europe.
He played most of his football in midfield, but one of the assets that most appealed to Sunderland was Sadiki's versatility. He can play in various midfield roles and is equally as comfortable playing at the heart of the defence or at right-back.
Providing there are no last minute issues, Sadiki's move to Sunderland will be confirmed in the coming days - with the Black Cats' plans quickly coming together ahead of the players reporting back for the start of pre-season on Friday.
Sunderland were dealt a blow today when it was confirmed that goalkeeper target Marcin Bulka had join Saudi Arabian club Neom on a lucrative four-year contract.
The Black Cats were confident of winning the battle for the in-demand Poland international a week ago, but none of the interested clubs could match the financial package being offered by the Saudi top flight newcomers.
