LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN that four teams have reached out about a potential trade, though no serious talks have taken place.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, LeBron James longtime agent Rich Paul, has already fielded interest from multiple teams.

“He told me that he has not had any discussion with the Lakers about wanting a trade,” McMenamin said Monday night.
“He did say that four teams have contacted him in the last 24 hours wanting to talk trades, but Rich didn’t have any substantive conversations with those teams, either.”
While no team names have been revealed, the fact that four franchises have reached out suggests that there’s at least some level of league-wide interest in the Los Angeles Lakers 40-year-old star.
The trade noise comes on the heels of LeBron opting into his $51.4M player option for the 2025–26 season. That decision alone signaled a strong chance of him staying in Los Angeles, at least for now.
However, comments from Rich Paul have left the door cracked open for other possibilities, especially if the Lakers don’t capitalize on their remaining offseason opportunities.
Last season, LeBron showed he still has plenty in the tank, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists while shooting 51.3% from the field and 37.6% from deep.
