Bayern Munich add Man United star to their summer wishlist

Bayern Munich have added one Man United star to their summer wishlist. The Red Devils are open to sell the player and had already sent him away on loan in the recent season. They are now focused on selling him permanently.

The star in question here is Marcus Rashford. He is 27 year old and has came up through United’s academy. Rashford played big role for United on multiple occasions. But, he has fallen down the pecking order due to dip in the form.

Rashford was sent on loan to Aston Villa in January. He looked decent under Unai Emery but will not join them permanently. The 27 year old will return to United but will surely have no future there. It is reported that he will prefer to move abroad instead of staying in England.

Bayern Munich add Marcus Rashford to thier summer wishlist

Bayern Munich are interested to sign a new attacker this summer. They have multiple big names linked with them. According to Christian Falk, they have now added Rashford to their wishlist. But, the 27 year old can be viewed as the alternative option for the Bundesliga champions.

Bayern have top players like Luis Diaz, Nico Williams, Bradley Barcola and Rafael Leao on their wishlist. Rashford is also a very good player but he has been out of form since a long time. However, Bayern can still make a move for him if they fail to land other targets.

Firstly, Nico Williams is very close to join Barcelona this summer. On the other hand, PSG have no intention to sell Barcola anytime soon. Hence, the realistic options for Bayern remains Luis Diaz and Leao. Liverpool have now signed Wirtz and they need to raise funds for new striker. On the other side, Leao is open to leave Milan due to them not qualifying for UCL.

As foe Rashford, United are open to sell him for £40 million. But, the player also earns heavy wages. Interested clubs may hesitate to match his wage figures due to his dip in the form. It will be interesting to see where the 27 year old ends up after the summer window.
