“Congrats My Man”: Patrick Mahomes Reacts To Chiefs Mike Caliendo In Marriage Announcement

Patrick Mahomes is gearing up for another strong run with the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming season. While he’s making the best of the offseason, Mahomes’ teammate Mike Caliendo broke the news of his marriage to his fiancée Olivia.

The Chiefs guard took to Instagram to share a couple of images from his wedding. Caliendo and Olivia tied the knot and were seen celebrating along with their friends. The ceremony took place at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

“The Greatest Day of my Life tying the knot with @olivia_caliendo. Here’s to us!!” Caliendo captioned his post.

Caliendo’s post went viral, and all his followers and fans took the time to congratulate him on his special day. Along with those comments was Patrick Mahomes’ wishes to the couple.

“Congrats my man!” the QB wrote on his post.

Caliendo was not the first Kansas City Chiefs player to tie the knot this offseason. The team’s cornerback, Nazeeh Johnson, and his fiancée, Gabrielle, also got married in Miami last weekend. Caliendo’s wife celebrated her bridal shower as well before their wedding.

Patrick Mahomes Defends Travis Kelce After Practice Altercation

During the 2023-24 offseason, the Chiefs were at their practice sessions when Travis Kelce punched his own teammate, Jack Cochrane. While it happened a long time ago, Mahomes defended Kelce for his actions.

Kelce apologized to Cochrane for his behavior, but Mahomes stated that he liked the fire and it was all about competing.

“I think we all have it. We have a lot of guys out here that are super competitive, but it’s about just doing it the right way. Trav (Travis Kelce) punching the guy, not necessarily the way you want to do it, but you love the fire. You love the first on both sides of the ball,”Patrick Mahomes said.

“Trying to finish to the last second, but that’s just the type of guys we are. We’re going to compete, we’re going to argue on the football field, and then we’re going to love each other in the locker room. We have a lot of dudes that are super competitive on this team,”Mahomes continued.

While it might have seemed like a simple issue then, it was undoubtedly a bad remark on Kelce. What was more surprising is that Mahomes came up to defend him. The Chiefs hope to have another run to the Super Bowl in the upcoming season, and Patrick Mahomes will play a vital role alongside Travis Kelce.
