Luis Diaz ‘becoming more and more frustrated’ with Liverpool
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has confirmed that Diaz is becoming more and more frustrated with Liverpool’s stance on him and his future.
Diaz had previously been told that the club would look at a new contract for him this summer, but Liverpool have since backed away from this stance.
Liverpool are now saying that Diaz is not for sale, but also that he is not in line for a new deal – even though he is now on a relatively low wage in comparison to many of his teammates.
Barcelona have seen enquiries rebuffed, whilst Bayern Munich have also seen the same response after they made an approach this week – as confirmed by TBR Football.
The Saudi Pro League also remain hugely keen on Diaz, but they have yet to make their move as it is unclear if the Colombian wants to leave Europe.
But one thing is for sure – Diaz is not happy with the status quo.

What could prompt Liverpool to finally sell Luis Diaz
Bailey has confirmed that Liverpool are standing firm over Diaz, and only a “sizeable offer” could change their mind.
However, Diaz would happily stay at Liverpool with a new deal and pay rise, revealed the transfer insider.
“To say that Diaz and his camp are frustrated is an understatement,” Bailey exclusively told TBR Football.
“He is not desperate to leave Liverpool but feels his form last season more than warranted a new deal and some sort of wage rise.
“However, whilst Liverpool considered a new deal with two years left they have opted not to offer fresh terms and that has led to the current situation.
“Diaz’s team are now pushing for an outcome that could see him leave, but Liverpool are standing firm and it would take a sizeable offer at this juncture for them to change their mind.”
Liverpool signed Diaz from Porto for an initial £37million fee, potentially rising to £49million, in January 2022.
