Wolves defender Nasser Djiga is reportedly in talks over a loan switch to [Rangers](https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers).
The 22-year-old centre-back is thought to be in discussions over making a season-long switch to Ibrox from the Premier League club.
According to the [Express & Star](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/2025/07/02/exclusive-wolves-defender-in-talks-to-join-rangers-on-loan/), Rangers are interested in a straight loan for the defender. It's reported there will be no buy option included in any deal between the clubs.
Wolves are thought to be keen to send the stopper out on loan to gain experience in UK football after joining the side from Red Star Belgrade in February.
Djiga has made five appearances for Wolves in the Premier League. He played 45 minutes against Crystal Palace, with his other outings limited to cameo roles.
Wolves paid a reported £10m transfer fee for Djiga earlier this year, but the defender was not able to immediately break into the first team under Vitor Pereira.
The transfer interest comes as Rangers have been heavily linked with a move for Conor Coady from Leicester.
The Ibrox side have so far added Max Aarons to their ranks this summer, with Lyall Cameron officially making the move to the club after a pre-contract deal agreed when he was at Dundee.
Rangers have agreed terms to sign Bournemouth midfielder Joe Rothwell with the player arriving in Glasgow on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old, who was a key player for Leeds last season in their promotion-winning campaign, will sign a two-year deal at Ibrox.
