United have been linked with multiple players in the market. The latest reports say that they are showing interest in Hakan Calhanoglu of Inter Milan. But, the Turkish star wants to join Galatasaray. The Red Devils do have another Inter man on their radar who’s price tag has now dropped.
Man United keen to sign Inter Milan midfielder
The star in question here is 25 year old Davide Frattesi. He has been with Inter since summer 2023 although he was with them on loan first. Frattesi played a major role for Inter this season helping his team to reach UCL finals. He scored the winner against Barca in semi-final.
According to Caught Offside, United are showing interest in Frattesi. They have made contact with Inter to know about the 25 year old’s situation. However, there has not been any offers, formal talks or negotiations yet.
The report adds that Frattesi has not yet decided about his future. Inter are ready to sell him but the 25 year old can still stay and play a major role for them. United are facing competition from Tottenham, Atletico and Roma in the race.
Lastly, the report states that Inter have dropped their price tag for Frattesi. Earlier, they wanted €50 million but are now open to do business for €35 million. United can surely afford this price tag for a player who can be a long-term acquisition.
