Stamford Bridge welcomes its latest Brazilian international - None

**Chelsea have announced the signing of Brazilian international forward Joao Pedro from Brighton and Hove Albion on a contract which runs to 2033.**

The 23 year old, who has three senior international caps for the Selecao, began his senior career with Fluminense before swapping the Copacabana for the Championship as he arrived at Watford in January 2020.

Capable of playing anywhere across the frontline, he spent two seasons at the London outfit before pitching up at Brighton and Hove Albion where he netted 22 Premier League goals in 89 appearances as well as 6 in The Seagull’s European adventure of 2023.

Speaking to his new club’s media, the South American’s ambition is clear, 'I grew up watching the Premier League, and Chelsea were a club that won trophies. So, when you join Chelsea, you can only think one thing: to win trophies.”
