Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott has sent a message to Newcastle United key man Tino Livramento amid links over a Premier League swap to the North East. The Reds saw their 23-year-old take the under-21s European Championships by storm as he successfully guided England to the defence of their crown.
Elliott picked up the Player of the Tournament award and found the back of the net in the final after firing the Young Lions past Holland in the last-four with his brace. Uncertainty surrounds the attacking midfielder's future with clubs vying for his signature with his first-team prospects looking limited in Arne Slot's side, this season.
Give Me Sport have claimed that the Magpies are exploring a move for the midfielder, this summer, following reports of a possible exit. The ECHO reported that Liverpool will demand a fee north of £40million for his services, fresh on the back of a Premier League-winning campaign and an instrumental spell in the summer with the Three Lions.
However, amid growing interest, Elliott sent a message to one of his European Championship winners - who coincidentally plays for one of the clubs rumoured to be interested in his services.
In a post to his Instagram with a picture of both the Liverpool starlet and Livramento celebrating one of Elliott's five goals at the tournament.
He tagged the full-back in the story with the caption: "Goat [Greatest of all time]."

With pre-season around the corner for Liverpool, the transfer window hotting up and the Reds' activity in the market, it's unclear what the future holds for Elliott.
Thomas Tuchel will be drawing up plans for his World Cup squad to travel for the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico next summer and with Elliott eyeing a path to the senior squad.
But speaking to the ECHO, the 23-year-old admitted that he isn't actively looking to depart Anfield but would have to consider options in what's best for his future.
"This is my team, I am committed to them and it's just a situation that is always going to have a lot of talk, I just need to think about what is best for my future, my career and as much as I want it to be here," he said.
"You never know what is going to happen around the corner.
"If I had it my way, that would be here, I would play each and every game here and stay here for the rest of my career but it all depends on managers, the people above and as I said you don't know what could happen but as far as I am aware I am here, here to stay and this is the club I want to be at.
"Hopefully I am still here to be honest. It is the best place to be, the best club to be at and especially having the fans around us at the moment, I don't think there is a better place to be playing.
"Players go through ups and downs but at the end of the day you have to come out fighting and I think it is within myself to make it happen. So hopefully I can stay here for the rest of my career."
