Man Utd transfer news&rumours as Bryan Mbeumo saga develops and Marcus Rashford now on elite club’s radar

Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo and Manchester United player Marcus Rashford have been making the rounds amid the latest transfer news and rumours around the pair.

Marcus Rashford’s future remains uncertain at Old Trafford after the end of the 27-year-old Manchester United forward’s loan spell at Premier League side Aston Villa.

Aston Villa signed Rashford on loan during the January transfer window and the England international spent the second half of the 2024-25 season out on loan.

United included an option for Villa to buy Rashford for a £40m transfer fee, but the Premier League club chose not to exercise their clause in the loan deal.

Villa did not pay a loan fee for the initial transfer in February and the club agreed to cover the majority of Rashford’s United wages during his spell at Villa Park.

Here are some of the rumours and updates for United fans to know about ex-Villa star Rashford and Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo on Tuesday and Wednesday.
