Everton now have a number of holes in their squad which need filling following the host of free agent departures.
David Moyes will return to Finch Farm over the coming days to prepare for pre-season, and he will require a number of new players.
Angus Kinnear is aware that lots of work is needed at Everton this summer, as fans are left waiting for the first new face to land this summer.
There is some positive work being done behind the scenes at Everton but the pressure will now begin to ramp up with numbers needing to be added.
Everton have lost Dominic Calvert-Lewin, along with a number of other players, covering a number of positions.
With so much work needing to be done, the Toffees have now been offered a player from the Championship to bolster their squad.

The 29-year-old shot stopper would arrive on Merseyside with plenty of experience to provide Pickford with some solid support.
Having lost so many players as free agents, it is certainly a market which Kinnear should be looking to take advantage of to boost the numbers.
Everton are prioritising new attacking signings, but there are clear needs across the entire squad that are going to need addressing.
Pickford only sat out two games last season, so any goalkeeper who does sign will have to be well aware of what their role is going to be.
What Pep Guardiola thought about Angus Gunn
Gunn came through the Manchester City academy and played a small role under Pep Guardiola.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, Gunn’s father admitted the goalkeeper did leave an impression on the City boss during his opportunities between the sticks.
“I think he made a big impression on Pep over pre-season and that’s obviously helped him to cement a place in the squad as the goalkeepers who will be working for a first-team spot this season,” he said back in 2016.
Former Scotland international David Marshall also hailed Gunn for showing a ‘perfect’ performance for the national side in 2023.
Gunn has racked up 166 appearances in the Championship, but just 33 in the Premier League during his career.
As far as backup options go, the 29-year-old could prove a smart addition.
