Manchester United could still see one of their prized assets leave the club this summer, according to reports - with GIVEMESPORT sources revealing that the Red Devils are asking intermediaries whether Chelsea remain interested in youngster Alejandro Garnacho, to sort out his future once and for all.
Garnacho, who turned 21 on Tuesday, joined United as a 16-year-old from Atletico Madrid for £420,000 - breaking through and earning his first-team debut at the age of just 18. He hasn't looked back since, making 93 appearances for the club in the league and a further 51 in other competitions, scoring 26 goals in the process and rising into a definitive first-team player under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford. But that could see other clubs come in for him if a huge bid is received for his services, having been billed at £70million in the past.

Old Trafford officials are aware of Chelsea's spending spree at the start of the transfer window, having already brought in Liam Delap and Joao Pedro for a combined fee of around £85million - as well as deals that took Sporting duo Dario Essugo and Geovany Quenda to the club in January, which cost them £62.4million.
They are monitoring the Blues' outgoings, which will soon start happening as they look to massively trim their squad - essentially freeing up funds and space for a potential move for Garnacho later in the transfer window. A move to Stamford Bridge is thought to 'satisfy' the player, according to sources, and he is starting to weigh up his potential offers around the globe - but ideally the 'phenomenal' star wants to stay in England to prove himself in the Premier League.
It's thought that Chelsea are still open to another attacking arrival, and whilst Mohammed Kudus is the one expected at the moment, given his best interests to leave West Ham United, Garnacho has remained open to the Blues as an option.
However, United are keen to know once and for all whether a move is likely to occur, or whether the case needs to be closed in terms of his long-term future, having been in United's first-team for three seasons under Erik ten Hag and Amorim.
