Liverpool exodus continues
Elliott, 22, could end up fetching a fee of £40m to £50m in the market with Newcastle said to be keen on adding the England under-21 international.
And the Toon have already had success in luring one Liverpool prospect this summer according to a new report in the Daily Mail.
Isaac Moran agrees Newcastle move
Isaac Moran, 16, has been regarded as a bright talent in the Liverpool academy. The England under-15 international has already played for the Reds at under-18 level - making three appearances last season.
He played two matches at centre-back and another in central midfield. However, according to the report, he is set to join Newcastle having decided to let his Liverpool terms expire.
LFC star turned down contract offer
“The 16-year-old turned down the offer of a scholar's contract at Liverpool's academy and left the club,” the report states.
Moran recently signed up with the PLG agency - which also represents the interests of Trent Alexander-Arnold among others. He will now go on and forge his career elsewhere.
Liverpool's renowned youth system
Liverpool have made a habit of bringing in some of the best young British and Irish talents around over the last few seasons. Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni are among those prospects tipped for a flourishing top-level career.
