Spencer Dinwiddie has found a new home with the Charlotte Hornets, agreeing to a one-year deal, sources told ESPN, as reported by Shams Charania.

Dinwiddie comes off a solid season with the Dallas Mavericks, where he averaged 14.3 points and 6.2 assists per game as a starter.
Known for his leadership on the floor, Dinwiddie is expected to bring stability and experience to Charlotte, which has been looking to develop its guard rotation.
He played 28 games for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2023-24 season, where he averaged 6.8 points and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 39.7% from the field.
Last year Hornets were second-to-last in the Eastern Conference with a record of 19-63.
