According to Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness, Luis Diaz is still a player of interest to Barcelona and his agent is pushing to get a deal done. Liverpool’s strong stance on the Colombian’s future could cause tensions between the player and the club, as the attacker is not in a happy mood.
Luis Diaz’s future could become a bigger topic of discussion in the transfer market than it already is. The Colombian played a pivotal role in Arne Slot’s team winning the Premier League last season, which has encouraged the Dutch manager to keep hold of him despite the signing of Florian Wirtz.
The Colombian is open to staying if there’s a good enough contract presented by the club, however, a new deal has not been forthcoming. The expectations with that are low at the moment, which may see the player consider a departure.
