Thomas Partey is attracting interest from a host of top European clubs including former side Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus, after leaving Arsenal as a free agent this week, according to The Evening Standard.
The 32-year-old midfielder officially departed the Emirates Stadium on Monday following the expiry of his contract, ending a four-year spell in North London. Arsenal had held talks with Partey over a possible extension, but the two parties were unable to reach an agreement, allowing the Ghana international to explore his options on the open market.
Partey, who joined the Gunners from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for around £45 million, had hoped to remain at the club but is now weighing up his next move carefully. Despite interest from across the globe, he is not expected to make a hasty decision.

Sources close to the player say Atletico and Barcelona have been monitoring his situation for several months and are both keen to bring him back to La Liga. Juventus have also expressed strong interest, having tracked Partey even before his official departure from Arsenal.

In addition to the European giants, two unnamed Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly preparing lucrative offers for the experienced midfielder. Major League Soccer teams in the United States and clubs in the United Arab Emirates are also in the mix, presenting Partey with a wide array of options for the next chapter of his career.

Partey’s exit is part of a wider reshuffle in Arsenal’s midfield this summer. Fellow veteran Jorginho also departed recently, returning to Brazil to sign for Flamengo.
The Gunners are already securing reinforcements, with Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi set to join in a deal worth over £50 million. The 26-year-old Spaniard is expected to be announced later this week after completing his medical.
Brentford captain Christian Nørgaard is also edging closer to a move to the Emirates. Arsenal are working on a deal worth an initial £10 million, potentially rising to £15 million with add-ons.
With Partey now gone and reinforcements on the way, Arsenal are clearly entering a new phase in their midfield rebuild as Mikel Arteta looks to shape a squad capable of ending their Premier League title drought in 2025/26.
