When you have Josh Allen playing at an MVP level and the offense scoring 30.9 points per game, naturally, your name will be thrown up in head coaching searches, and that is what happened to Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady this offseason.
A hot candidate, Joe decided to stay put in Buffalo and try to finish what he and Josh started in 2024.
Granted, matching the lofty standards of last season will be tough, but the Bills' offense added Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore, and Laviska Shenault Jr. to replace Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper.
So, the offense has remained relatively intact, and that means Brady has a chance to lead one of the best units in football again, with Super Bowl glory front and center.
And for Bleacher Report, in naming six hot head coaching candidates entering next offseason, if the Bills break through with a Super Bowl win, Brady will be a hot candidate.
"Joe Brady made his rounds as one of the top candidates for a head coaching job in the previous hiring cycle," Bleacher Report writes. "He chose to stay with the Buffalo Bills for a third term.
"If the Bills finally beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs or Allen continues to play at his best within the structure of Buffalo's offense, Brady will be the top head coaching candidate next offseason."

Given how the Bills' offense operated without a genuine No. 1 weapon last season, that shows how Brady and his "everybody eats" mantra paved the way for the unit to be a selfless, well-oiled machine.
Can that be replicated this upcoming season? There's no reason to suggest it can't.
Allen reeled in his turnovers and played the best football of his career. Dalton Kincaid dealt with injuries and should be healthier, and hopefully James Cook gets his future sorted, because Buffalo has all the weapons needed to win, and a coordinator who knows how to get the most out of his group.
In truth, it won't matter if the Bills don't win the Super Bowl in 2025; Brady's offensive wizardry will make him a top head coach candidate regardless.
