AFC Wimbledon sign Delano McCoy-Splatt from Fulham

AFC Wimbledon have announced the signing of Delano McCoy-Splatt from Premier League side Fulham.

The 20-year-old Jamaican international joins the South London club following the expiry of his contract with the Craven Cottage outfit.

McCoy-Splatt came through Fulham’s academy after joining in 2016. He progressed to regular involvement at under-21 level after captaining the under-18 side and won the Premier Cup with the U21s in 2023/24.

He stated on the signing: “I’m really excited to sign for Wimbledon and take this next step in my career. It’s a great opportunity for me to grow as a player and work hard for a place in the team.”

“I’ve had a really warm welcome and I’m looking forward to getting started, contributing wherever I can, and showing the fans what I can bring to the club.”

Manager Johnnie Jackson added: “Delano is a really talented young player with a lot of potential. He’s now our player, and someone we believe can develop with us, take his game to the next level, and be part of a successful team.”

He has signed a two-year deal with the newly promoted side.
