Juventus’ time at the Club World Cup has come to an end.
What proved to be their tournament finale was certainly a better overall performance than what we saw from Igor Tudor’s squad in the final group stage matchup just a few days earlier. But the 1-0 loss against Real Madrid was the end of the road for Juventus at the Club World Cup.
It didn’t matter how many world-class saves that Michele Di Gregorio made in the sweltering heat and humidity of Miami on Tuesday afternoon, Juve were still second best on the day and Real Madrid were able to advance to the Club World Cup quarterfinals.
We’ll review the tournament as a whole soon. For now, though, here’s our thoughts about Juventus’ performance against Real Madrid as well as a little bit about the Bianconeri’s soon-to-be new striker who hails from Canada.
