Welcome to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...

Rocco Reitz

West Ham's hopes of signing 23-year-old German midfielder Rocco Reitz have been slashed following reports that current club Borussia Monchengladbach are determined to hold on to the midfielder. West Ham were, according to reports from Germany, "leading the race" to sign him, amidst interest from clubs such as Fulham, Brighton and RB Leipzig.

Still, Reitz's contract is understood to contain a release clause of around €20million - although the player Reitz is said to be completely happy at Gladbach and very happy to continue his development under Gerardo Seoane at Borussia-Park.

Joao Palhinha

Bayern Munich's Joao Palhinha, 29, has been linked - once again - with a move to West Ham United this summer with Potter reportedly keen to bring the Portuguese midfielder in as part of a midfield rebuild.

,Palhinha’s current club are open to selling him for around €30million - significantly less than the €50 million they paid. Rumoured not be in Vincent Kompany’s plans for next season, Palhinha - who was one of West Ham's key targets last summer - has publicly stated his intention to stay and fight for his place at Bayern, citing injuries and competition as reasons for his limited impact so far.

Yann Bisseck

24-year-old centre back Yann Bisseck has re-emerged as a target for West Ham this summer, with the Hammers among several Premier League and European clubs showing interest.

The towering 6'5" German, currently at Inter Milan on a contract running until 2029, has become a regular starter this season making 44 appearances across all competitions including playing in both legs of the Champions League semi final. Inter are reportedly open to offers, but have set a valuation of around €40-€55million following interest from West Ham.

Nicolas Gonzalez

Nicolas Gonzalez, Juventus' 27-year-old winger/attacking forward has been linked with a potential move to east London by Italian media previously this summer.

And Juve are understood to have set an asking price of approximately €30million for the Argentine forward, who endured a disappointing first season with the Serie A side having scored only five goals and provided four assists in 35 games following a €28million move from Fiorentina the previous summer.

Gonzalez has attracted interest from elsewhere in the Premier League, with Brighton having also been alerted, while Galatasaray have also made enquiries say reports. Juventus may look to offer Gonzalez to West Ham United as part of a swap deal for Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd, who is set to return to east London for pre-season training next week.

And today's one for luck...

Valon Behrami

Former Hammer Valon Behrami has been announced as Watford’s new manager, marking his return to the club where he previously played between 2015 and 2017.

At a recent press event Behrami highlighted his long-standing relationship with Scott Duxbury: "Scott… originally signed me when he was at West Ham and then again as a player at Watford, so I did not hesitate when he asked me". This connection dates back to 2008 when Duxbury, then CEO at West Ham, brought Behrami to the club on a £5 million deal.
