Arsenal’s summer transfer window is really getting going now.
Indeed, after a slow June, Arsenal are kicking into gear in July as they’re lining up multiple deals.
Martin Zubimendi is set to join Arsenal at some point, while Eberechi Eze has emerged as a key Arsenal target too.
Eze isn’t the only Premier League star who could be headed to north London either.
Indeed, Christian Norgaard has been linked to Arsenal too, and speaking on TalkSPORT, Ben Jacobs has shared an update on Norgaard’s potential move to the Emirates, and it would appear this one is close to being done.

Christian Norgaard set to join Arsenal next week
Jacobs shared what he knows about Norgaard and his potential move to Arsenal.
According to the journalist, the Brentford ace has already done the first part of his Arsenal medical, and this move should be completed next week.
Norgaard was linked to Tottenham at one point, but it would appear Arsenal have won the race to secure this signing.
“It’s Eze plus a left winger and then you have a number nine as well. Add in Norgaard who has done the first part of his medical and is expected to complete his move next week. On top of that factor in the €60m or so outlay for Martin Zubimendi and Arsenal are getting going. Mosquera is another one they’re very optimistic on,” Jacobs said.
Mikel Arteta’s oldest signings at Arsenal
Christian Norgaard isn’t your archetypal Arsenal signing under Mikel Arteta it must be said.
Indeed, Arteta has had a real preference of signing younger players, and at the age of 31, Norgaard would be one of the older players Arsenal have signed in recent years.
In fact, Norgaard would be one of the oldest players Arteta has signed for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s oldest signings Age
Neto 35
Jorginho 31
Christian Norgaard 31
Cedric Soares 28
Mikel Merino 28
Neto remains Mikel Arteta’s oldest signing, but Norgaard would be up there as one of the oldest Arteta has brought in.
Of course, signing experienced players isn’t necessarily a bad thing, Liverpool won the league last season with Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah as arguably their two best players, and they’re both in their 30s.
Norgaard should be a great depth option for Arsenal, and there’s reason to be excited about this signing.
