Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died at the age of 28 after being involved in a road traffic accident in a Spanish province, according to [Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/premier-league/2025/07/03/muere-futbolista-liverpool-diego-jota-accidente-trafico-provincia-zamora.html). The forward was reportedly travelling in a vehicle with his brother Andre when it went off the road, causing a fire. The incident is said to have taken place on the A-52 in the province of Zamora, near the town of Palacios de Sanabria.
