Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died aged 28 in a traffic collision in Spain, according to reports.
The Portugal international was travelling with his 26-year-old brother Andre - who also died in the collision - when their vehicle went off the road.
Andre was also a professional footballer with Portugese second-tier club Penafiel.
Liverpool star Jota had married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso just last week. The couple had three children together with their third baby being born in November.
Jota signed for Liverpool in 2020 from Wolverhampton Wanderers. He played 182 times for the club, scoring 65 goals. He helped the Reds to the Premier League title last season and was also part of the side that won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in 2022.
